Bronx Parking Judgments Can Lead to Booting or Towing

Bronx drivers with old tickets should check NYC Finance before a parking debt turns into a boot, tow, or judgment problem.

Published June 24, 2026 · Last verified June 24, 2026

A Bronx parking ticket problem can stay quiet until it becomes a boot or tow problem. NYC Finance’s towed-vehicles FAQ says that if a vehicle has more than $350 of tickets in judgment, it could be booted and towed, with warning notices before that happens. Look up tickets, respond before default, and pay or dispute through official channels.

Look up the ticket record before the amount reaches the boot-and-tow stage. Keep the plate, ticket numbers, judgment status, warning notices, and any payment or dispute confirmation together. If the vehicle has already been towed, use the NYC Finance FAQ to find the city process and tow-lot route.
