Nassau Red-Light Notices Have a Due-Date Choice
Nassau registered owners should view the video, then pay or schedule a hearing before the NOL due date.

Nassau red-light camera notices have their own process, so do not treat them like a routine parking ticket. Nassau County says a Notice of Liability is mailed to the registered owner when a vehicle fails to stop for a red light. The county page lets owners use the violation number and PIN from the notice to view the video, then pay online or by mail if they believe the violation occurred.
If the owner wants a hearing, Nassau says the fine must be paid or a hearing scheduled before the NOL due date, and the Notice of Hearing will explain when to appear. That makes the due date the piece to circle right away.
Before the deadline, put four things in one place: the NOL due date, violation number, PIN, and the video or hearing choice. If you call or contest it, use the exact words from the notice so the Traffic and Parking Violations Agency can find the same record.
That narrow checklist keeps the notice from turning into a pile of guesses. Nassau County, the Traffic and Parking Violations Agency, the Notice of Liability, and the video review all belong in the same small record trail until the pay-or-hearing choice is settled.
