Oswego Event Food Has Separate Packet Doors

Oswego County separates food service, mobile food, temporary food, and mass gathering packets, so the event route matters.

Oswego County does not put every food question through one little doorway. The forms are split into clear lanes: regular food service, mobile food service, temporary food service, and mass gatherings.

That split is worth noticing before a fundraiser, food truck stop, school event, fair booth, or seasonal kitchen gets too far along. A restaurant kitchen, a truck, and a weekend booth all serve food, but they do not use the same packet.

For a public event, start with the temporary food service materials. Keep the date, menu, cooking setup, serving location, water plan, and person in charge together. For a food truck or longer-running operation, check the mobile or regular food-service lane instead of trying to squeeze the plan into an event packet.

The Oswego County Health contact block lists the department at 70 Bunner Street in Oswego, with a main phone number on the page. That is handy when a group is still deciding what kind of setup it really has. Ask before ordering supplies, printing posters, or promising a vendor spot. A short call early can save a much bigger scramble when the tables, coolers, and volunteers are already in motion.
