Newark Valley village errands usually begin with the village office, then move to water, code enforcement, planning, or the town assessor as needed.

Newark Valley’s practical route is nicely compact if you start in the right place. The village homepage lists the Village of Newark Valley at PO Box 398 with a 607-642-8686 office number and says Village Board meetings are held monthly in the Noble Room at 9 Park Street.
The Village Office page groups the useful doors: Mayor and Trustees, Clerk/Treasurer, Public Works and Water Department, Code Enforcement, Planning Board, Town Assessor, and Dog Control Officer. The contact page gives 9 Park Street and the office email.
For a resident, that means one page can prevent several wrong turns. Start with the village office for forms, meetings, and general routing.
Use Public Works or Water for service questions. Use Code Enforcement before work that might touch local code.
Use the Town Assessor link when the question is property value or assessment, not the water bill.
Before a call or form, write down the address, bill, permit question, meeting topic, or dog-control issue. Newark Valley is compact enough that the right doorway can make the errand feel neighborly, but the office lane still matters.
