Orange parcel information is a reference, not a survey

Orange County parcel tools can help owners orient a property question, but official maps are not a substitute for legal survey work.

Use the Orange County parcel map to get the basic facts about a property. It can show the parcel, city or town, nearby features, tax-map details, and what looks like road access.

Treat the map as a starting point. It does not promise that a property line or road access is exact. When a purchase or building job depends on a line, check a deed, survey, or city or town file.

Save the address and parcel number with the map result. Note the city or town shown on the map. Then use the deed, survey, or local record for any question the county map cannot settle.
