Sullivan DMV Is a Nine-Stop Appointment Errand

Sullivan County DMV users should use the county appointment route, know the nine local stops, and keep road-test questions with NYS DMV.

Sullivan County DMV errands work better when you think of them as an appointment route, not a single counter in Monticello. Local DMV stops include Monticello, Jeffersonville, Grahamsville, Hortonville, Wurtsboro, Narrowsburg, Bloomingburg, Liberty, and Livingston Manor.

That helps in a big county where a short map distance can still mean a long drive. The appointment route covers permits, CDL testing, CDL renewals, vehicle registrations, non-driver IDs, new licenses, Enhanced ID, and REAL ID work. If county offices close for weather and you had a Monticello or Mobile Unit appointment, plan on rescheduling.

One errand does not belong to the local office: road tests. The local DMV does not oversee road test appointments or road tests, so that question goes to NYS DMV. Dealers have their own packet habit too: paperwork can be mailed or put in the dealer drop box with a blank check to DMV, a prepaid return envelope, and a phone number. For a resident, the helpful folder is appointment, location, transaction type, proof list, and the phone number tied to the appointment.
